Take advantage of QMP’s Bespoke Product Design Service.
Although QMP offers a huge range of products you may have specific needs for a custom product to fit your work environment. These projects have an intricate design process – where ideas transform into workable solutions fitting precise specifications.

Our experienced sales team and hardworking production team can provide our customers with a full design service. This includes a site visit for our team to plan and measure the desired space for the installation. Additionally, our specialised production team will provide our customers with CAD drawings. Alongside rendered imaging, customers are able to see what their product will look like in situ.

Here is an example of a customized Pack Tek Workbench that was created for a valued distributor. We worked with the original sketch idea and used Solidworks design software to create a detailed model, technical drawings and final render for the customized product.

DESIGN SKETCHES

The first step is to obtain design ideas from our customers or draw initial sketches of the product. Our designers will then evaluate the requirements and develop concepts in harmony with our manufacturing standards.

MODEL DESIGN

Using Solidworks design software our team create 3D models of the product following the customer requirements and concept drawings. The project really starts to come to life at this stage of the process.

TECHNICAL DRAWINGS

Next, our in-house design team will create detailed technical drawings of the project. This will include precise measurements and specifications to make sure that the finished product will match the customer’s requirements exactly.

FINAL RENDER

Finally, a high-resolution render of the product is created. This is how the final product will look when manufactured. Once this is approved by the customer, the product will be manufactured by our expert team.

Our technical team will be more than happy to discuss how our standard designs might be adapted to suit the specific requirements of a particular application. This may include how to accommodate existing features or equipment safely or changing dimensions, colours and material specifications from those we use as standard.
