You may be familiar with the great range of metal products that are produced here at QMP, but how well do you know the team that has helped the company become of the UK’s leading trade only manufacturers?

Meet the team – Let’s get to know the team at QMP a little more, and in this edition we introduce you to Steven Griffiths, Technical Manager.

Technical Manager

Steven started at QMP in February 2021 as Technical Manager. His role encompasses all technical aspects from product design to programming.

Steven is also creating a new technical database from a design perspective and implementing new software to drive better manufacturing efficiencies. He is also working on utilising the management software so the business can trace costs against manufactured items and potentially use it as a manufacturing / production capacity tool.

Outside of work Steven is very family-focused. His son swims and competes at county level, so that takes up a lot of his time.

As a family, they like to travel and cruise and are very “outdoors” people. Steven enjoys surfing when he gets the chance (usually on holiday) and enjoys hiking where he has a little time to himself.
