Here at QMP, we manufacture a wide range of storage cupboards, including our Hazardous Substance Storage range. We offer various storage cupboards to help the workplace to comply with the CoSHH Regulations, these include our Hazardous Storage Cupboards, CoSHH, Acid & Alkali, Petroleum and Flammable Liquid Cupboards. Not only do we offer our standard range which are perfect for any workplace and for everyday use, but we also offer a product range which offers these cabinets with more security features. The security aspect of these cupboards are being fully welded, having a full piano hinge, security locking system which is our anti-pick lock and seven level safe handles – these cabinets are very high security and prevent any unwanted forced entry.
Know Your Hazardous Labels
You can prevent or reduce workers exposure to hazardous substances within the workplace by the following:
- Finding out what the health hazardous are and deciding how to prevent them by a risk assessment.
- Providing safe and secure storage for any harmful hazardous substances.
- Make sure that the workplace abide by keeping any hazardous substances controlled within a designated cupboard with correct labeling.
- Providing employees with any information or training to help them follow the CoSHH Regulations.
- Having plans in place for any hazardous emergencies.
Standard Hazardous Substance Cupboards – These are available in various size options these being floor cupboards, mobile cupboards, wall cabinets and floor chests. This is our best selling range out of the substance cupboards, this is why we stock* these cabinets which are available to our trade customers within 5 working days (*expect Hazardous Floor Chests). The design of this cupboard features a robust and durable all-steel construction with a 2-point locking system.
High Security Hazardous Substance Cabinets – The fully welded design offers a high security cupboard manufactured from a higher gauge of steel of 1.5mm. A full length piano hinges with an anti-pick locking mechanism with a seven lever safe lock for high security.
Standard CoSHH Cupboards – These Cabinets are perfect for use within the workplace and complying with the CoSHH regulations by safely storing hazardous substances correctly and safely. Available in various sizes including floor standing cupboards, wall mounted, floor chests and mobile units. These cabinets are supplied with warning labels that identify what is stored within the cupboard, and are powder coated graphite grey.
High Security CoSHH Cabinets – The CoSHH Security Cupboards are higher security than our general CoSHH Cupboards with a heavier gauge of steel used during the manufacturing process, a different locking system which is our anti-pick locking mechanism, seven level safe lock and full length piano hinges to prevent any forced entry towards the sides of the cupboards.
Standard Pesticide & Agrochemical Cupboards – A sleek looking cupboard powder coated in ruby red with perforated ventilated doors offers the workplace an ideal storage cupboard for Pesticide & Agrochemicals. These cabinets are fitted as standard with no snag 2-point locking handles with built-in integral liquid-tight sump which encourages the correct handling of spills through the use of absorbent cleaning materials. These cabinets also come with the correct warning labels for easy identification.
High Security Pesticide & Agrochemical Cabinets – A high security cupboard range which helps store chemical materials correctly within the workplace. The cupboards features have a high gauge of steel used during the manufacturing process and are fitted with an anti-pick locking mechanism with a seven level safe lock.
Standard Acid & Alkali Cupboards – This cupboard range provides safe and separate storage for caustic materials within the workplace. These are available in various sizes including floor standing, wall mounted cabinets and mobile units, powder coated with a clean white finish supplied as standard with the correct labelling. By not storing these types of hazardous materials/substance correctly it can prevent many hazards.
High Security Acid & Alkali Cabinets – These cabinets are manufactured from a higher gauge of steel which is 1.5mm, and comes with high quality features such as an anti-pick locking mechanism with a seven safe lock. The Acid / Akali Security Cupboards also feature full length piano hinges which prevent any unwanted access.
The Flammable Liquid Cupboards range offers safe and secure storage for flammable chemicals. These robust steel cupboards are manufactured from a high guage of steel and powder coated red supllied with warning labels as demanded by the CoSHH regulations. These cabinets are available in a selection of sizes to suit the users requirmenets, these include, floor standing, floor chests and mobile units. All of the sizes feature a no snag 2-point locking handles, excluding the floor chest where are locked by a hasp and staple locks.
These high security Petroleum & Flammable Liquid Cupboards are perfect for the workplace by offering secure storage space for storing pesticides & agrochemicals. These cabinets are available with a high security 3-point locking systems with full piano hinges and are available in 2 sizes. The Floor chests are also available in 2 sizes with a secure hasp and staple locking system. Both designs are powder coated red and are supplied with warning labels.
