You may be familiar with the great range of metal products that are produced here at QMP, but how well do you know the team that has helped the company become of the UK’s leading trade only manufacturers?
Meet the team behind the products – Let’s get to know the team at QMP a little more, and in this edition we introduce you to Kevin Wood, Production Machine Operator!
Meet the team – Kevin Wood, Production Machine Operator
Kevin has been with us for 21 years and works within our manufacturing facility. Within his valuable years, Kevin has had various roles and mastered many talents within the production areas.
First starting on the powder-coating plant to the role he is in today – operating one of our many our manual bending machines. This machine allows folds to be made within sheet metal components to make the products what they are today! Kevin helps manufacture many different product ranges, with his main ranges being our Euroslide Tool Storage Cabinets and Storage Lockers.
Outside of work, Kevin enjoys keeping fit with many trips to the gym, going to salsa dance classes with his recent fitness challenge climbing Snowdon. We are very proud to say Kevin has recently completed along with his friends, The Snowdon Challenge and raised an incredible amount of just over £5,000 for the British Heart Foundation. Well done to Kevin & his team for completing such a difficult yet so rewarding challenge!
