7 Mindful Monday Tips
Today we recognise World Mental Health Day.
World Mental Health Day is an annual event where there is an opportunity for the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. The theme of 2022’s World Mental Health Day is ‘Make mental health and wellbeing for all a global priority.

Starting work with a thoughtful mind is crucial and really helps to support our mental wellbeing. A healthy mind improves productivity, performance, and engagement at work.
So here are some mindful Monday tips that can help you keep positive and focused for the week ahead at work.

GET ACTIVE
Why not start off your week with a little early-morning exercise? This will help you to increase your fitness and energy for the first day of the week. Exercise can also boost your mental wellness too!

SET GOALS
Start off your week by setting some goals for the week ahead. This will help you to be more decisive and disciplined in the workplace and get you moving in the right direction.
Now you have a positive and productive week to look forward to!

STAY HYDRATED
Help your body and mind by drinking plenty of water at work.
Kick off your Monday with a glass of warm water and make sure you drink regularly throughout the day. Water will increase your energy, reduce fatigue, and help you stay focused and engaged at work for longer.

JUST BREATH…
Breathing exercises are great to relieve any stress or tension and can help to combat psychological conditions that may affect your health and wellbeing. So start off your Monday with some breathing exercises and infuse mindfulness.

PACK YOUR FAVOURITE SNACKS
Food can have quite an impact on our mental health and wellbeing, so of course a healthy and nutritious diet is a top priority. On Monday make sure you pack your favourite healthy snacks to help you energise, de-stress and keep you productive.

STAY AWAY FROM SOCIALS
Spending too much time on social media can impact your productivity or make you feel worried or stressed about news.
Don’t let social media take over your time, take a rest from scrolling on a Monday morning, clear away any negative thoughts and start your day in a positive manner.

DRESS TO IMPRESS
Looking good makes you feel better and portrays a positive and professional image to boost your self-confidence.
So pick out your best outfit on a Monday morning to lift your mood and feel good about yourself!
