2023 Highlights

As we are now into January 2024, we take a look at our 2023 highlights and take a sneak peek at the exciting times ahead for 2024! Including the brand NEW product launches, MORE added best-sellers stocked on a 5-day delivery and last but certainly not least, FURTHER investment for QMP!

Let’s start our 2023 highlights with our first investment for the year… the Amada Ventis Laser installation! We invested £2m in the new machine to increase the production of our wide range of products. This machine increased our lights-out punching capacity.

Enhanced lead times

Continuing our 2023 highlights, in June we invested in the manufacture and stocking of our Hazardous Cupboards and Standard Lockers, which we pride ourselves on as both products are in our top 5 best-sellers!

Noticing the ever-increasing high demand for both ranges we reduced our Standard Locker range lead time from 15 working days to 5-7 working days and introduced ANY QUANTITY. The beauty of being the manufacturer is… we can manufacture on demand.

Our Hazardous Cupboards have also been available on our 5-day lead time for many years now, but, in light of our new machinery and heavy investment in our production facility, we are able to offer our Hazardous Cupboards on ANY QUANTITY AND within 5 working days!

Steps to a greener future

Back in October for Recycling Week, we took a closer look at the steps we have taken to operate more effectively as a business. We have adapted processes to reuse and recycle materials to ensure we act as a responsible business, making a positive contribution towards a greener future for us and the environment.

Exhibition Attendance

Last year we were delighted to attend a variety of different exhibitions. We took part in both Automechanika and the Southern Manufacturing & Electronics show for the very first time and they were a great success. We also had the pleasure of attending a number of distributor days supporting our network of distributors.

New beginnings and milestones

We welcomed the latest member of our sales team in December 2023. Welcome to the team Lydia! Cyra started with QMP back in April 2023 as our Customer Services Co-ordinator.

Scott (Production Manager) – 1 year
Chris (Factory Operative) – 5 years
Travis (Despatch & Warehouse Operative) – 5 years
Aaron (Production Manager) – 1 year in his new role, with a total of 12 years at QMP
Stuart (Production Director) – 10 years

New products for 2024

This year we are launching many new products from 1st February 2024 – AND it’s going to be the biggest year of product launches to date! Check out these new products below…

So, what else is new for 2024?

We have noticed the high demand for more of our best-selling products to become available on a quicker delivery lead time for our distributors, so look out for more products added to our 5-day delivery service.

We are also working tirelessly behind the scenes on our website – designing further product configurators to help our distributors and the all-new STOCK PORTAL! Many months in the making, however, we are getting very close to launching our ”Distributor Stock Portal”. This will allow our distributors to gain access and check our 5-day stock levels.

Keep your eyes peeled across our social platforms where we will be revealing all of our new products and sharing exclusive news regarding new website product configurators and the distributor stock portal.

2024 catalogue launches

We are pleased to announce the launch of our 2024 main product catalogue which will be available from early February. We will also be launching the latest edition of the Euroslide Product Catalogue.
Both catalogues have been many months in the making with stylish new updates and new products added.
