Later this year, QMP will be installing a state-of-the-art and innovative machine in its manufacturing facility. We are thrilled to introduce the Amada Ventis Fiber Laser.
QMP is investing £2 million in this new machine that will help us to greatly improve productivity, increase capacity in our warehouse to ultimately provide quicker deliveries to our network of distributors.
The Amada Ventis Fiber Laser is perfect for reliable and efficient automation with outstanding productivity with just 4000w.
A unique LBC-unit enables pendulum motion of a laser beam, that ensures metal is cut much faster and cleaner.
The installation will also feature a material sorting tower, part-picker and storage for maximum output and efficiency. This will further enhance our lights out capability.
The tower system has been designed to improve material loading and unloading times dramatically, to keep up with the high-speed laser fiber machine.

This machine is identical to the one that QMP will be installing very soon.
QMP’s current 150,000 sq ft manufacturing facility is equipped with some of the most sophisticated machinery worldwide, with lights out Punching and Bending, Robot Welding and an automatic Powder Coating Plant.
