QMP Walkways are designed to link buildings together with a covered pathway that provides protection from the weather.
Constructed from high-grade steel sections and covered with polycarbonate and perspex panels (depending on model), QMP Walkways are highly cost-effective structures. They are lower in price than building from brick and glass, and can easily be retro-fitted without the need for foundations.
The main benefit of a Walkway is to provide protection from the wind and rain as people move from one building to another. Similarly, for goods or materials in transit, a walkway keeps them dry. In the summer, a Walkway can provide up to 97% protection from the harmful UV rays emitted by the sun.
QMP makes two styles of Walkway - one is free-standing, the other wall-mounted. The free-standing Premier Walkway is used to connect buildings across an open space; the Wall-mounted Walkway can be used to channel the passage of people or goods round the perimeter wall of a building, thereby avoiding obstacles. Both styles are modular, come in flat-pack format and have optional side panels for even more weather protection.
Should one of our standard designs or sizes of Walkway not suit, QMP is able to offer a bespoke manufacturing service. For a modest increase in cost, our designs can be tailored to your exact requirements.
